Wiggle Like a Fish in Love

I realized recently that I have a lot in common with this fish.

The white-spotted pufferfish spends days in constant, meticulous motion. He wiggles in the sand to carve a pattern of perfect symmetry, building a sanctuary before a partner ever arrives.

That’s what I’m doing with this page.

While this project is a means of self reflection and expression, it’s also my version of displaying my patterns—how I repair, how I love, and how I handle the hard stuff. I’m laying it all out so she can see me honestly, and decide if I’m the one she wants to walk… or swim alongside.

I’m wiggling in the sand for me, but I’m wiggling to you.
